Project Brief
Having been brought in just a few weeks shy of publication, my brief was to boost the exposure specifically within Wales for this long-awaited non-fiction book by the American author Pamela Petro.
Campaign
We focused on securing reviews and features and ensuring prize submissions for this hardback title, as the book tour planning was already complete.
Results
Ahead of publication, I secured advance praise by Sharon Blackie who promoted the book to her newsletter list of several thousands. While at the end of the 2022, I secured a spot on a round-up Christmas list; The Long Field appeared in a Sunday Telegraph feature, the Best Travel Books of the Year: ‘An absorbing meditation on the meaning of home.’ A few months after publication, the book was shortlisted for Wales Book of the Year. Coverage-wise, we secured column inches in New Welsh Review, Nation.Cymru and Wales Arts Review.
