Each guest at the Writers’ Cabin receives a complimentary prescription of ‘Retreat’ pills, exclusively created for Write Within and dispensed by the Poetry Pharmacy in nearby Bishops Castle.

Each handmade ‘pill’ includes a homeopathic extract of poetry on recycled paper by poets including John Clare, Wallace Stevens, WB Yeats, Gregory Leadbetter, Clare Shaw and Mary Webb.

Read a pill at your leisure to help guide your creative practice during your writer’s retreat. Ease creative blocks with this literary prescription by poetry pharmacist, Deborah Alma. These are restoratives for serenity, self-reflection and rejuvenation.
